Muscle Frog

Your workout data stays yours.

Privacy Policy · Last updated September 19, 2026

The short version: Muscle Frog stores your workout information on your device and, when iCloud Sync is enabled, in your private iCloud database. We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, track you across apps or websites, or sell your data.

No advertising
No tracking
No developer account

About this policy

This policy explains how Muscle Frog handles information when you use the iOS app. It applies only to Muscle Frog and not to Apple services that the app may use, such as iCloud.

Information handled by the app

Muscle Frog handles information that you enter to provide its workout-tracking features. This may include:

The app does not require a Muscle Frog account. It does not collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or HealthKit data. Muscle Frog does not include third-party advertising or analytics services.

How information is used

Your workout information is used only to provide features in the app, such as recording workouts, displaying workout history and progress, and restoring or synchronizing your information when iCloud Sync is enabled.

We do not use your workout information for advertising, profiling, or marketing, and we do not sell it.

Storage and iCloud Sync

On your device

Your workout information is stored locally on your device. If iCloud Sync is turned off, it remains on that device and may be lost if you delete the app or erase the device without a backup.

In your private iCloud database

When iCloud Sync is enabled in Muscle Frog settings, the app uses Apple CloudKit to store and synchronize workout information in the private database associated with your Apple Account. Apple controls the iCloud infrastructure and its security. Muscle Frog does not operate a separate server that receives this information.

Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy and applicable iCloud terms.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not share your workout information with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties. Information synchronized through iCloud is processed by Apple to provide the service under Apple's terms.

We may disclose information only if required by applicable law or a valid legal process. Because workout information is stored on your device and in your private iCloud database rather than on our own servers, we generally do not have access to it.

Your choices and data deletion

For help accessing, exporting, or deleting information associated with Muscle Frog, contact us at the address below. Because we do not maintain user accounts or a separate user database, we may direct you to device or iCloud controls where appropriate.

Data retention

Local workout information remains on your device until you delete it in the app, remove the app, or erase the device. When iCloud Sync is enabled, synchronized information remains in your private iCloud database until it is deleted through the app or through applicable iCloud controls.

Security

Muscle Frog relies on iOS data protections for information stored on your device and on Apple's CloudKit protections for synchronized information. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but we limit the app's data handling to what is needed for its features.

Children's privacy

Muscle Frog is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Muscle Frog's features or data practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be reflected here before or when they take effect.
